Tatiana Parrott

Associate ESG Analyst

Tatiana Parrott joined the VCIM ESG team in October 2022 and conducts ESG reviews of companies to determine their eligibility for investment and provides shareholder engagement. She brings a diverse perspective to the team having 20 years of experience in a variety of industries and organizations including the UN Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS, Population Services International, and the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. Her experience ranges from managing programs to protect the human rights of persons living with HIV to programs for the development of the creative sectors. Prior to joining VCIM, Tatiana worked at the BC-CfE, Canada’s largest HIV/AIDS research, treatment, and education facility, coordinating professional development programs for physicians and allied health care professionals.

 

Tatiana feels strongly that businesses are responsible for playing a larger role in society than simply maximizing profits. Her aspiration to align the sustainable development agenda with the corporate agenda led her to pursue a role within ESG and socially responsible investing.

 

Tatiana holds a Master of Arts with a major in social anthropology from the University of Guelph and a Master of Business Administration from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University.
