Mary Tsang

Mary Tsang joined Vancity Investment Management in February 2020 as an Associate Portfolio Manager and has over 10 years of financial industry experience. She is a member of the Equities team focused on the VCIM Global Equity Fund and IA Clarington Inhance Global Equity SRI Fund. She also assists in the day-to-day management of other equity mandates and oversees Vancity Investment Management’s Public Equities co-op program. Prior to Vancity, Mary spent six years in discretionary portfolio management in various independent wealth management firms including OceanRock Investments Inc. that has since merged into Aviso Wealth.

Mary earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from UBC Sauder School of Business and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM), and Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) designations. She spends her time outside of work volunteering with CAIA Vancouver as a Chapter Executive and enjoys travelling and exploring her love of food with family and friends. Mary practises beginner’s mind in all facets in life and believes it is a powerful tool for continuous improvement as it promotes a growth-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn and stay open to new ideas and perspectives.
