Andrew Branting

Andrew Branting joined Vancity Investment Management in December 2025 as a Senior Investment Analyst on our Equities team and has over 10 years of experience in Capital Markets. Andrew joined us from British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), where he worked on developing and managing a Global Thematic portfolio since 2018. While at BCI, he also ran the Public Markets Co-op Bootcamp program for incoming co-op students.

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (First Class with Distinction) from Simon Fraser University with a concentration in Finance. He is currently working towards his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Andrew hopes to be a life-long learner, devoting time to studying Capital Markets through books and podcasts. Outside of work and studies, Andrew can be found spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter. He enjoys ski mountaineering, biking, and golfing.
